When we first started Ecoright, it was with a simple idea - can we create a sustainable alternative to single-use plastic? We decided to create a simple, well-designed tote bag that could be natural and reusable. But as we started trying to sell online, our delivery partners said - “This is a great idea, just pack your cotton bag in a plastic bag and we’ll deliver it for you!”
Ummm….
This was a problem!
So we delayed our launch; we could not solve the problem of plastic pollution by creating more plastic pollution!
With that thought deeply ingrained in our minds, we embarked on a quest to create a more holistic experience for our customers and our planet. We evaluated various sustainable packaging options, seeking the perfect balance between sustainability and brand identity. We thought of multiple options and finally created a sustainable and eco friendly packaging. And that’s when we launched our brand - Ecoright.

With a lotta product packaging research down the line, we settled on recycled plastic as our primary packaging material. A packaging made of something that would have otherwise been thrown away into the trash and pollute the landfills for 100 years. We turned this trash into something useful and valuable and used this recycled packaging to pack our eco friendly tote bags, our mission to a greener planet took off from here!
The wave of positive responses that flooded in for our branding and packaging from our customers was the perfect validation, proving that what we had crafted with such love truly resonated with our customers!
Over the years, we have created many different types of sustainable packaging - biodegradable plastic, recycled paper, recycled cotton, and recycled plastic.
We also later introduced cotton bags and custom packaging - recycled cardboard box packaging for a range of our products; everything from the outer packaging to the bookmark that we send with our products is made from recycled and sustainable materials.
